I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decor of Boutique Hotel Straelman. The vintage furniture and beautiful floral patterns throughout the common areas reminded me of my younger days. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people like myself, with wide hallways and sturdy handrails to assist with walking. It made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for seniors like myself would be additional seating options in the garden. Sometimes it can be tiring to walk around for too long, and having more benches or chairs available would have been greatly appreciated.

The rooms were not only spacious and cozy but also impeccably decorated, showcasing the true artistry of the architecture and design. And let's not forget the breakfast - it was absolutely superb! The hotel was beautifully decorated, with a charming and elegant atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and accessible for senior people like myself. I especially loved the cozy sitting area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. The hotel's location was also ideal, as it was centrally located and within walking distance of many attractions and shops, making it easy for me to explore and enjoy the city.
Although my stay at the hotel was fantastic, I would have loved to have a mini-fridge in the room. It would have been convenient to have a place to store some cold drinks and snacks, especially for senior guests who may prefer to have a selection of their own preferred beverages.

The room was absolutely stunning with a balcony overlooking the beautifully designed garden. It felt so calming and peaceful, the perfect spot to relax. I loved the comfort and luxury of the room. The air conditioning kept the temperature just right, and the LCD flat-screen TV added a touch of modernity. The private bathroom was impressive too, with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. It was like having a mini spa in my room. There was even a seating area in some rooms, a cozy spot to unwind and read a book or just enjoy the ambiance. The fact that each room was equipped with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning was a definite plus. The twin/double room I stayed in even had an iPod dock, which was a nice touch.
Personally, I would have preferred a hairdryer in the private bathroom, but I understand others might not mind.

Our stay at this charming hotel located in a peaceful residential area was delightful. The location is perfect, as it is just a short walk away from the bustling city center. The rooms are modern, elegant, and very clean. The staff is friendly and provides personalized attention to guests. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade bread freshly baked daily. The climate control in the rooms was impressive, and bathroom lighting was excellent. The hotel also provides guests with their personal phone numbers for round-the-clock assistance.
The bathroom sink design wasn't very user-friendly; it took some effort to wash our faces and brush our teeth.

My weekend stay in this boutique hotel was wonderful. The location was just what I needed to explore the city and it was easy to walk to great restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations for sights to see in the area. The breakfast was personalized and tasted great. I also appreciated the home-made bread.
The only negative aspect of my stay was that there was no mini-fridge in the room, which would have been helpful to keep some drinks cold. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a centrally located, stylish and comfortable spot.
